Wiktor Luczak represented PI-SENS at the EnFI SIIRI 2026 – 18th Conference on Engineering of Functional Interfaces and 3rd International SIIRI Symposium, hosted by Hannover Medical School (MHH). The conference brought together early-career researchers from the fields of medicine, engineering, and information technology to foster interdisciplinary collaboration on functional material interfaces, with a particular focus on implantable technologies.
During the conference, Wiktor presented his research through both a poster presentation and a poster flash talk entitled "Analysing Functionalization of FETs Used in Biosensing with KPFM." The work highlights the use of Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy (KPFM) to investigate the surface functionalization of field-effect transistor (FET)-based biosensors, providing valuable insights into how surface modification influences sensor performance.
The conference offered an excellent platform for scientific exchange, networking, and discussions on the latest developments in functional interfaces, biosensors, and biomedical engineering.
