Invited Speaker Seminar with Prof. Dr. Jianjun Wang

On Tuesday, September 8th, we were pleased to welcome Prof. Dr. Jianjun Wang from the Technical Institute of Physics & Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (TIPC, CAS) to Danube Private University Austria (DPU) in Wiener Neustadt.

Prof. Wang gave an invited seminar on “Ostwald Ripening-Induced Organic Nanoparticles”, sharing insights from his research on crystal formation mechanisms and their biomedical applications. His interdisciplinary research spans topics ranging from ice nucleation and cryopreservation materials to drug crystal regulation and antibacterial applications. His work has been published in leading journals including Nature, Nature Photonics, Science Advances, PNAS, and JACS.

Following the seminar, there was an opportunity for scientific exchange and discussion of potential future collaborations. Prof. Wang also visited the DPU facilities and laboratories in Wiener Neustadt, providing an opportunity to introduce our research infrastructure and ongoing activities.
