The Young Researchers Calendar 2026 offers fascinating insights into the diverse research landscape at the ecoplus Technopoles. Twelve young scientists working at the ecoplus Technopole locations in Krems, Tulln, Wiener Neustadt, and Wieselburg exemplify the innovative strength of Lower Austria.

Among the featured talents are Roger Hasler, developing novel biosensors for medical diagnostics at the Danube Private University (DPU), and Malaika Waheed, an electrical engineer in the Aerospace Engineering department at FH Wiener Neustadt. Together with photographer Daniel Hinterramskogler, ecoplus CEO Helmut Miernicki, ecoplus project manager Karin Herzog, and ecoplus authorized officer Claus Zeppelzauer, they attended the official press event with Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner in the Palais Niederösterreich.

The calendar is released in a limited edition of 400 copies and is distributed exclusively to universities, universities of applied sciences, research institutes, Technopole partner companies, ministries, research funding organizations, and other scientifically interested individuals.

It thus provides a valuable platform to showcase our research on biosensors for medical diagnostics, which Roger Hasler is developing as part of the PI-SENS project at DPU. We are very pleased that we could participate in this great calendar project and sincerely thank ecoplus for this opportunity.
