PI-SENS at Institutional Seminar Series

Beginning of September, the inaugural LiST Institutional Seminar took place at the TFZ in Wiener Neustadt, marking the start of a new monthly seminar series at Danube Private University Austria (DPU). The first seminar brought together group leaders and senior researchers from across different scientific fields to introduce their research, share current projects, and explore opportunities for collaboration.

Among the presentations, Prof. Dr. Christoph Kleber presented the PI-SENS project, providing an overview of its research focus and current activities. Other contributions covered topics including adaptive biointerfaces and wearable sensors, nanomaterial-based diagnostics, biological barrier models, plasmonic and fluorescence-based biosensors, electrochemical sensing, microbiome monitoring, and innovative medical and environmental technologies.
