Anna Schöllnast

PhD Student

Anna Schöllnast is a PhD student at the Institute for Breath Research at the University of Innsbruck, Austria, and has been a research associate in the PI-SENS project since April 2025. Her research focuses on the analysis of reference gases at parts-per-billion (ppb) concentrations and the analytical validation of sensor performance. She obtained her Master of Science in Chemistry from the same institute in April 2025, where she investigated secondary metabolite emissions from fungal species using advanced analytical techniques. Throughout her academic training, she has gained experience in trace-level gas analysis and instrumental techniques such as high-resolution mass spectrometry and ion mobility spectrometry.
