Eklavya Koshta
PhD Student
Eklavya Koshta is a PhD researcher who earned his Bachelor of Technology degree in Production and Industrial Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India, followed by a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aalto University, Finland, where he specialized in advanced manufacturing and energy solutions.
During this period, he gained international research and industrial experience at Aalto University and KONE Industrial Ltd., holding key roles in the field of mechanical engineering and supply chain management. His early research spans hydrogen technology, metal-matrix composites, abrasive wear, machinability studies, mechanical design, and FEM simulations.
Eklavya is currently a PhD researcher in the PI-SENS team, contributing to the COMET project “Sensor Connection with Speed Laser.” His work applies advanced laser technology to develop next-generation sensor systems for early disease detection, integrating his expertise in CAD/CAM, precision mechanical design, and advanced manufacturing techniques to build high-performance diagnostic solutions.​
